By placing a pre-order with Burtt Baking Co., you acknowledge and agree to the following policies. We provide these guidelines to ensure the highest quality for our guests and to manage our small-batch production effectively. Thank you for your support and understanding!
Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change! To receive a full refund, we require a minimum of 72 hours' notice for standard cancellations. For holidays, corporate events and other special events, please provide at least two weeks' notice, as these periods require significant advanced preparation.
- Late Cancellations: Because we order fresh ingredients and begin preparations well in advance, we are unable to issue refunds for orders cancelled with less than the required notice (72 hours for standard orders; 2 weeks for holidays).
"Forgotten Order" Policy
All of our items are baked fresh daily without preservatives, and our storage space—especially during the holidays—is very limited.
- Pick-Up Reminders: If an order remains at the shop as we approach closing time, we will make every effort to contact you via the information provided.
- Unclaimed Items: Orders not picked up by closing time will be donated or disposed of to make room for the next day's fresh bakes. We do not freeze or store items past their scheduled pick-up date.
- Refunds on Unclaimed Orders: Much like a restaurant order or a custom pizza, once an item is prepared specifically for you, it is reserved exclusively for your enjoyment. Because we cannot resell these items and have already invested the labor and ingredients, we are unable to issue refunds for forgotten orders.
A Not on the Holidays:
Our team works around the clock during the holiday season to ensure every family has delicious baked goods to enjoy. To allow our staff time to celebrate with their own families, we cannot stay past our posted closing hours, return to the shop for late arrivals, or offer delivery for forgotten orders. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a healthy work-life balance for our dedicated bakers.
Refund Policy
- Timely Cancellations: As noted above, full refunds are honored with 72 hours' notice (or 2 weeks for holidays)
- Quality Assurance: We take great pride in our work. If a product is found to be physically defective or inedible (e.g., burnt, exceptionally dry, or containing a foreign object), we will gladly offer a replacement or a full refund.
- Subjective Preferences: While we strive to exceed every guest's expectations, we do not offer refunds based on personal taste preferences or minor aethetic variations from social media imagery.
